Noted Canadian actor David Fox was the keynote speaker at Ichthys Theatre Productions' annual general meeting at Glenhyrst Art Gallery of Brant on Saturday. Fox, a stage veteran who has also appeared in Road to Avonlea, The Adventures of Tintin and Heartland on the small screen, fielded questions from Lorna Stratton of Ichthys. Fox moved to Brantford from his childhood home of Swastika, Ontario, and finished high school at Brantford Collegiate Institute. The well-traveled actor regaled the audience – which included Brant MPP Dave Levac and city councillors Vince Bucci and David Neumann – with stories from a career that has taken him from the Stratford Festival to stages in Sri Lanka and China.
