Variety show supports African grandmothers

The Grand River Grannies will present their second annual variety show on 
Saturday, Oct. 27, beginning at 7 p.m. in the W. Ross 
Macdonald School auditorium.

The event will feature performances by Academy of Dance, the Brant Taletellers Guild, Joan Hendershot, Piano Power, Pleasant Ridge, Shiyr, Tristan Hernandez and the Troupe of Misbehaving Ladies.

All proceeds from the event will go to the Grandmothers to Grandmothers Campaign. Through the Stephen Lewis Foundation, the campaign sees Canadian grandmothers supporting grandmothers in Africa through awareness and fundraising.

Tickets cost $20 and can be purchased by calling 519-758-1141 or visiting The Bookworm in Brantford, Paris Jewellers in Paris or Classic Vault Emporium in St. George.
