Country sounds at Sanderson Centre

Canadian country musician George Canyon is set to perform at the Sanderson Centre for the Performing Arts on Saturday, Feb. 4, beginning at 8 p.m.

Canyon got his start as runner up on USA Network’s reality television series Nashville Star in 2004. Since then, the multi-platinum artist has been hard at work establishing himself as an entertainment superstar, winning multiple Juno and Canadian Country Music Awards and releasing six studio albums.

As an actor, Canyon has appeared in Showcase’s Trailer Park Boys and CBC TV’s Heartland. He will soon be seen in the remake of The Dawn Rider alongside Christian Slater, Donald Sutherland and Jill Hennessy.
