Whose Line is it Anyway star Colin Mochrie will inject a bit of improv into the 2013 Brantford Comedy Festival.

Mochrie will headline the fourth annual festival, taking place in September, with a performance of improv sketch comedy alongside his wife and The Second City alumnus Debra McGrath.

“It’s neat because we are showing a different kind of comedy at the show,” said comedy festival director Jamie Stephens. “I’ve personally seen the show and its really funny.”

A ticket pre-sale will run from Nov. 24 to Dec. 24. After Christmas, tickets won’t be available again until June 2013.

“We are opening up tickets for anyone who wants to buy them early,” Stephens said. “They make great Christmas presents and it’s a great way to secure your seat knowing that the festival will sell out again this year.”
