BRANT NEWS

Detective Sherlock Holmes is at it again in Brantford author Fred Thursfield’s new mystery novella, Sherlock Holmes and the Terrible Secret.

Based on the famous Sir Arthur Conan Doyle character, Thursfield’s “what if” story follows Holmes as he is coaxed out of retirement at the beginning of the First Word War. The detective has to track down an exotic dancer who holds a dangerous secret before it falls into the hands of a hostile government.

Thursfield’s first Sherlock Holmes story, Sherlock Holmes and the Discarded Cigarette, was released in February 2012. He is currently working on his third story, Sherlock Holmes and the Mystery Writer.

Sherlock Holmes and the Terrible Secret can be purchased at www.amazon.com, www.mxpublishing.co.uk or at any Coles Book Store.

Visit Thursfield’s website at www.fredthursfield.wordpress.com for more information.
