Hamilton band the Acoustics is expanding its musical style with the release of its third studio album, Erie Long.

Four years in the making, Erie Long is a departure from the band’s instrumental world-roots sound, embracing folk-rock with a mix of vocal and instrumental tracks.

The band will celebrate its official release with a performance at the Brantford Station Gallery on Friday, Feb. 8, at 8 p.m.

Tickets cost $15 in advance or $20 at the door.
