Kennedy Chisholm is a ten year-old grade 5 student from James Hillier Public School who has competed in many different sports for both her school and minor sports.

She just completed her 3rd year of rep basketball, this year winning the Ontario Basketball Association Provincial Bronze medal for the Brantford CYO Falcons atom basketball team. 

Kennedy has also played minor soccer for 5 years; she has been involved in figure skating, and was recently graded honour standing in Highland Dancing.

She has been a member of the James Hillier School basketball, baseball, volleyball, soccer, track & field and swimming teams.

Her other interests include acting; she played Brigitta in the Pauline Johnson Collegiate’s production of the Sound of Music. She sang a solo at the James Hillier’s Christmas Pageant.

She is also a member of her school’s Student Council and volunteers at the Brantford Food Bank and participated in the Brantford Classic Run.

Kennedy is a dedicated and hard-working student and is hoping to continue her athletics career at both the high school and university levels. She hopes to one day even be on the Canadian Olympic team in 2024.

Kennedy would like to give special thanks to basketball coaches Janet Smith, Dan Pace, and Wray Brimmer; James Hillier coach Ms. Wilson and Carolyn’s Highland School of Dance.
