The Brantford Galaxy Youth Soccer Club is gearing up for the 2012 season with registrations kicking off this weekend for ages eight to 13.

Players in the league receive tutelage from professionals and associates of the Brantford Galaxy Canadian Soccer League club and are brought up through the Galaxy’s long-term development program.

Registration for eight and nine year olds is $110, $120 for 10 and 11 year olds and $140 for 12 and 13 year olds.

Boys and girls teams are being assembled.

Registrations will take place at the Lynden Park Mall and Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre on Saturday, Feb. 4, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Additional registrations take place at North Park Collegiate high school on Saturday, Feb. 11, and Saturday, Feb. 25, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

There will be another chance to register at the Gretzky centre on Saturday, Mar. 3, and Saturday, Mar. 24, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
