The Brantford Galaxy’s homegrown talent propelled the Canadian Soccer League club to its third-straight win and a comfortable third place in the standings.

Brantford native Jacek Przednowek scored three goals as the Galaxy downed the last place North York Astros 5-2 on the road
Friday night. David Simpson and Braeden Krampert netted the other Galaxy goals
as the team improved to 6-3-0 on the season, good for 18 points in the standings.

TFC Academy and the Montreal Impact Academy are tied for second with 19 points and defending champion Toronto Croatia has 20 points.

The Galaxy are home on Sunday night to face Niagara United at 7 p.m. at Lions Park. Brantford defeated Niagara 2-1 on the road earlier this season.
