Blast improve first place record

The Brantford Blast won a high-scoring affair against the Welland Whalers on Friday to improve their first place record in the Allan Cup Hockey league to 13-1 this season.
The Blast won the offensive duel 10-7 at the Brantford civic centre.
Chris Rebernik paced the offense with a hat trick, while Chad Spurr had two goals and three assists.
The Blast travel to Orillia on Sunday night to face the Tundras, the only team to get the better of Brantford so far this season.
