St. John’s claims rugby victory

Action during a boys high school rugby match between St. John’s College and North Park Collegiate on Tuesday afternoon at George Jones Fields. SJC won the contest 41-7. The victory locks up first place and a bye to the Brant County championship for the Green Eagles. The Trojans will match up with the Brantford Collegiate Institute Mustangs on May 23 in the semifinal, with the winner advancing to the the final against St. John's on May 24. The Mustangs downed the Trojans 41-0 in an earlier matchup this season.
