I was amazed and elated to read about Rev. Barry Pridham’s candidacy for moderator of the United Church of Canada. Sydenham United Church and his family must be overjoyed, as well.

Not only can we be proud of having Rev. Mardi Tindal serve her term as the United Church of Canada’s moderator, but to have another prodigy of Brantford hopefully take the reins again should put a bigger and brighter smile on all of our faces.

I know Rev. Barry would serve the United Church of Canada’s General Council to the best of his abilities. He is a hard-working and devoted member of the community, his church and his faith.

With a twinkle in his eye and a smile that’s contagious, he’ll make you realize that there is hope again.

Once you meet and talk to him, you’ll understand why he’s the perfect choice.
