The Canadian Diabetes Association Gord Paynter Memorial Golf Tournament held on June 23 at Burford Golf Links raised $15,000 for Camp Huronda, a camp for children aged eight to 15 with Type 1 diabetes.

Dorothy Calbeck presented the Jack Calbeck Memorial Award to Don Wolan and Gord Paynter Memorial Award to event emcee Larry Brown. Thank you, Larry, you did leave ‘em laffin’.

Thank you to Jackie Davis for inspiring words about having a child diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes and thank you to our auctioneer, Jared Pettman.
