More than 100 Zumba enthusiasts shook their assets all afternoon in Harmony Square on Saturday as part of what was billed as Brantford’s largest Zumba class. Joan Minnery from THINspiration brought the dancers and instructors from Zumba Brantford, Curves, Nomen Fitness, Bodyline Fitness, the YMCA and Art In Motion Dance Studio to promote the Brantford Fitness Festival, which will be held on Sept. 15 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The festival, to be held at the Children’s Safety Village of Brant, will be a health and wellness trade show for the city. The inaugural festival will feature family entertainment and a barbecue to make the fitness-themed event fun for the whole family.
