Two youths were arrested by city police on Monday morning after they were caught breaking into parked vehicles in the area of Dalhousie and Charlotte streets.

Police say the youths were apprehended shortly before 10:30 a.m. after five parked vehicles had been entered.

A 16-year-old male is charged with five counts of attempted theft from a motor vehicle.

An 11-year-old boy was released into the custody of his parent.
