Police are looking for suspects after a Brantford woman walking near Ravenwood Road and Parkland Trail was hit in the face by an egg thrown from a passing car.
The incident took place just before 8 p.m. on Wednesday. The egg was thrown from a blue sedan travelling south on Ravenwood Road.
The vandals also damaged the side view mirrors of two cars parked on Greenfield Road and Ivanhoe Road.
“These cases are not harmless pranks,” said Brantford police Const. Nat Laing. “The Brantford police take these incidents very seriously. There is an increased risk of serious injury and damage to property when any object is thrown from a moving vehicle.”
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact the Brantford Police Service at 519-756-7050 or Brant-Brantford Crime Stoppers at 519-750-8477 or 1-800-222-8477.
