Residents of Brantford have the opportunity to give a family a home through the Habitat for Humanity ReStore’s Brick’s Home Sponsorship Contest.

The in-store fundraising and awareness building campaign runs until Dec. 15 across Canada.

Residents can vote for their community to receive a home sponsorship courtesy of The Brick.

“We are in an ideal situation to win this contest,” said Linda Moyer, Brantford ReStore manager. “We are a small, tight-knit community with excellent networks and partnerships.”

The winner of the contest is determined by the percentage of the population that votes.

“Participants can only vote once, so the biggest impact can be made by encouraging others to vote as well,” Moyer said. “Spread the word at your work, to your family and neighbours.”
