Reviewing video surveillance and interviewing witnesses have led city police to charge an unidentified man with failing to report an accident after he struck a youth in a Fairview Drive parking lot on Monday morning.
Brantford police said they were seeking a suspect in relation to the hit and run incident after a 17-year-old male was struck by a car while walking through the parking lot shortly before noon.
Police say the victim received medical attention for minor injuries following the incident.
A black, mid-sized car driven by a man described as being in his late 60s or early 70s left the scene prior to police arriving, investigators previously said.
The man is charged under the Highway Traffic Act.
