Two youths face assault and weapons charges in relation to a fight in West Brant during the early morning hours on Friday.

Brantford police were called to the area of Gilkison Street and Colborne Street West at about 12:15 a.m. after four males were reported to be fighting.

One male sustained a large cut to his scalp. Another received minor injuries in the fight, police said.

Investigators say 9-1-1 operators received several calls from passing motorists in relation to the disturbance.

Officers have arrested two youths in relation to the incident.
