The owner of an Aberdeen Avenue home was sitting on their front porch with a visitor on Monday afternoon while an unwelcome guest made an unannounced entrance through the home’s unlocked back door.

The intruder was chased out of the home and was last seen running through backyards toward Strathcona Avenue.

A ladies wallet containing ID and cash was stolen from the residence.

The suspect is described as a 5’7″ white male with a moustache. He was wearing grey shorts and a black T-shirt.

Police are seeking witnesses and ask anyone with information regarding this or any other break and enter to contact the street crime unit at 519-756-7050.
