The Brantford Sports Hall of Recognition board is getting excited about the hall’s new home at the Wayne Gretzky Sports Centre.

As construction of the hall approaches, the committee is putting out a call for volunteers.

“The key to its ongoing value is the ability to tell stories in a multimedia format supported by the artifacts that belonged to the inductees,” chairman Stan Worosz said.

Worosz is putting a call out to local historians and sports buffs to be part of a team that collects and transcribes all available knowledge about Brant’s greatest athletes.

“It is a big job that needs to be done in the next three to four months,” Worosz said.
