There are many ways to get into the spooky spirit in Brantford. Don’t miss out on these great events happening throughout the month of October.
For outdoor fun, visit Brantwood Farms for Ghost Encounters and the farm’s Fall Festival, which has become a tradition for many.
Catch a real fright during a Ghost Encounters haunted hay ride on Oct. 26 and Oct. 27. This weekend will be the last for this year’s Fall Festival, which features pony rides, corn mazes, a pumpkin patch and more.
Don’t miss BMO’s Scare in the Square in Harmony Square on Oct. 26 and Oct. 27. This all-ages event features trick-or-treating, contests, tractor-pulled hay rides and more.
The Brantford Public Library is offering some spooky workshops this month. On Oct. 27, kids aged six to 12 can express their creative abilities during a pumpkin decorating workshop that begins at 11 a.m. Registration is required.
Have an aspiring wizard in the family who loves science? At 2 p.m., kids aged seven to 10 are invited to drop in for a potions workshop.
And don’t miss the Glenhyrst Family Halloween Haunt, complete with a haunted mansion and forest, as well as Halloween activities for kids in the Glenhyrst cottage, on Oct. 28.
