Members of The Hardy Road Area Citizens Committee staged a bicycle rally on Monday that saw cyclists travel from Hardy Road near the Brantford Golf and Country Club to Brantford city hall, where they were met by cheering supporters. The committee would like to see housing developments currently proposed for the ecologically sensitive Hardy Road area rejected by the Ontario Municipal Board. The OMB will evaluate arguments from developers and the city during a five-month hearing that began on Monday at city hall.
