Poppy boxes stolen across Brantford

Brantford police are investigating the theft of poppy boxes reported stolen from 22 locations across the city.

Investigators have released an image of a suspect in relation to the incidents, which took place between Nov. 2 and Nov. 11.

Police are speaking with business owners and employees to gather as much information and evidence as possible and have obtained video surveillance that captured a suspect in the act.

The suspect is described as a white man, between the ages of 35 and 45 with a scruffy dark beard, scruffy shoulder-length hair, between 5’7″ and 5’11″ tall and between 170 and 190 pounds.

He was wearing a dark hoodie and a dark coat.
