Brantford police have arrested a suspect in relation to the theft of poppy boxes across the city leading up to Remembrance Day. (Read the story here.)

Police say a 39-year-old Brantford man is charged with 16 counts of theft under $5,000 and 16 counts of breaching probation.

The man is being held in custody for a bail hearing and an investigation is ongoing.
