Eyewear was stolen during two break-ins at local businesses on Thursday.

At approximately 3 a.m. on July 5, two youth were seen entering a Dalhousie Street business through a smashed front glass door and leaving with numerous pairs of sunglasses. Police are reviewing video surveillance footage as the investigation continues.

The front glass door of a business on King George Road was smashed in just before 11 p.m. on July 5, triggering an alarm. Community patrols officers responded to find that prescription glasses had been stolen.
