Pizzeria robber demands dough

A 32-year-old Brantford man is facing robbery charges after demanding money from the owner of a Market Street pizza restaurant on Wednesday night.
Brantford police say a man walked into the restaurant at about 10 p.m. and demanded money from the owner and his wife while concealing his hands.
Investigators say the pair feared for their safety and turned over a quantity of cash. The thief then left the store.
A man matching the description of the suspect was soon located by officers a short distance away on Marlborough Street.
The stolen cash was recovered and no weapon was found on the suspect during his arrest.
A 32-year-old Parkside Drive man is charged with robbery.
