The Paris Christmas Food and Toy Hampers committee is looking for donations of food and toys for its 2012 program.
Last year, the program assisted about 140 families in Paris during the Christmas season.
Non perishable food items and new toys can be dropped off at locations across Paris, including TD Canada-Trust, the Bank of Montreal, LCBO, The Willett, County of Brant OPP station and the Canada Post office on Grand River Street North.
Toys will be distributed in hampers for infants and children up to 12 years old.
Applications for Christmas hampers are available at the County of Brant municipal office located at 66 Grand River Street North.
Applications must be completed and returned to the municipal office in a sealed envelope marked “Christmas Hamper Program.”
Christmas hampers will be distributed at the Paris Fairgrounds on Dec. 21 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.
Residents and businesses can sponsor a family by contacting Shirley Simons at 519-442-3550.
