Three federal NDP leadership candidates are scheduled to visit Brant riding in March.
Candidates Thomas Mulcair, Martin Singh and Brian Topp will visit the riding.
“The direction the NDP takes will be different depending on who is the leader,” said Marc Laferriere of the Brant NDP. “They have different ideas on where the country is going.
“We are happy we are getting so many NDP leadership candidates coming through the riding.”
Mulcair will stop in Brantford on March 1. He will visit the Seniors’ Resource Centre on Colborne Street at 2:30 p.m. and hold a meet and greet at the Urban Getaway from 3:30 p.m. until 5 p.m.
Singh will be in the city on March 3. He will visit the Station Coffee House and Gallery for a meet and greet event taking place from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m.
Topp will be at Piston Broke Pub on March 6 for a meet and greet event that runs from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m.
Brant NDP members gathered for the organization’s general meeting at the Brantford and District Labour Centre on Saturday.

—This is a good chance for people to come on out and listen to a party that beleives in natural soil remediation. A party that is not wanting to give all our manufacturing jobs away to slave economies that mistreat their workers and citizens. A party that cares about workers and people in general and not just their freinds. We are a party that is not running scams like Ornge and the E-health billion dollar boondogle. We all want your support for a party that cares about regular hard working Canadians.
