Brantford superhero Captain Kindness stands in front of a banner advertising this weekend’s Frosty Fest in Harmony Square. The event will see Dalhousie Street turned into a winter midway featuring an old-time carousel, pony rides and horse-drawn trolley rides. Vendors will sell winter-themed treats like ice taffy and funnel cakes. The event will also feature Canadian junior pairs bronze medallist figure skaters Mary Orr and Anthony Furiano, as well as a snowboard demonstration. Frosty Fest runs 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday.
