City police arrested three Brantford residents and one Kitchener man after officers in the street crime unit spotted a crack cocaine deal taking place in the city at 9 p.m. on Monday.

A 33-year-old Kitchener man and a 58-year-old Grand River Avenue man were charged with possession and trafficking of crack cocaine. Police searched the men and found 1.5 grams of crack cocaine and $675 in cash.

Officers later searched a Grand River Avenue residence, where they found a small amount of marijuana and prescription medication.

A 31-year-old woman and 39-year-old man, both of Grand River Avenue, were arrested and charged with possession of marijuana and hydromorphone.
