One woman is dead following a single vehicle accident on Bateman Line early Saturday morning.

County of Brant OPP said a 2002 Pontiac was travelling along Bateman Line south of Burtch Road when it left the road for unknown reasons. The car rolled over, partially ejecting the lone female occupant.

Thirty-three-year-old Sheri Hill of Mississaugas of the New Credit First Nation was pronounced dead at the scene by the attending coroner.

County of Brant OPP technical traffic collision investigators are assisting with an investigation into the accident. Bateman Line was closed for several hours to allow for the investigation.

A post mortem examination will be conducted to determine the cause of death.
