Const. Nat Laing of the Brantford Police Service received a 20-year exemplary service medal from Chief Jeff Kellner, right, and Deputy Chief Geoff Nelson during a police services board meeting on Thursday. Laing, who currently oversees media relations and new hires for the police force, has also worked as a casino liaison officer, Aboriginal protest expert and member of the break and enter and intelligence units during her policing career.
