Liberal leadership candidate Deborah Coyne dropped by The Piston Broke Thursday night to introduce her platform and hear about the issues that concern Brantford residents. Coyne, who in 2006 lost in the Toronto-Danforth riding to late NDP leader Jack Layon, is a constitutional expert who took part in the Meech Lake Accord debates and worked at the Ontario Human Rights Commission and Canadian Immigration and Refugee Board. Coyne’s vision of “one Canada for all Canadians” includes an engaged citizenry and a bold, transparent national government. She opposes a Liberal-NDP merger and would create a council of federal, provincial and municipal governments to find sustainable solutions to problems such as the infrastructure deficit and lack of employment training.

— I do beleive she makes this stuff up as she goes along. The Liberals have been great at spending our money on their friends for years. We all know how overpaid some of the commissioners at the Ontario Human Rights commission are as they persecute poor working stiffs and live high off the hog on our hard earned money
