City police charge Brantford man after watching drug deal

A Brantford man is facing charges after city police watched a drug deal take place in the area of Albion and West streets on Tuesday.

Officers with the city police street crimes unit witnessed the transaction at about 8:30 p.m., arrested the man and seized 0.4 grams of crack cocaine and more than $500 in cash in his possession.

A 21-year-old Chatham Street man is charged with possession of a controlled substance, trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of property obtained by crime and breach of probation.
