Brantford police are seeking assistance from the public after a 49-year-old city man was reported missing on Monday.

Police say Jeffrey Powless, also known as Jeff or Jebb, was last seen on Saturday at 11:15 p.m. walking away from his Sherwood Drive residence.

Powless is described as aboriginal, 6’2” tall, 210 pounds, with a medium build, long salt and pepper hair and brown eyes.

Powless 
wears glasses and was last seen wearing blue jeans, a grey fleece coat, blue “croc” shoes and his right arm may be in a sling.

Family members and investigators are concerned for his well-being due to a pre-existing medical condition.
Powless has ties to the areas of Six Nations, Hamilton and London.
