Prolific volunteer and fundraiser Clarence (C.J.) Dick was beloved in Brantford for his tireless dedication to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Multiple Sclerosis Society, Brant Humane Society and many other charitable causes.
Mr. Dick, who died on July 22 at age 86, was known for his warm personality and dogged determination to help those in need.
The Brantford Gunner’s Club at 115 Henry St. will host a celebration of Mr. Dick’s life from noon until 4 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 4. Speakers will begin at 1:30 p.m.
