A Hamilton man faces drug-related charges after Brantford police stopped a vehicle on Charing Cross Street Thursday afternoon.

Police say the driver was stopped and arrested by street crime unit officers at about 1 p.m. after being found in possession of $2,205 in cash and five grams of marijuana with a street value of $50.

A 27-year-old Hamilton man is charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of property obtained by crime.
