Canadian Blood Services is looking to book appointments for 1,200 more blood donors over the long weekend to help meet the needs of hospital patients.

Blood donor clinics will be held in Brantford at the following locations:

-  Brantford and District Civic Centre, Thursday, Aug. 30 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Resurrection Community Centre, Saturday, Sept. 1 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- Boys and Girls Club of Brantford, Tuesday, Sept. 4 from 1:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
