UPDATE: Brantford police locate missing 47-year-old man

UPDATE: Brantford police reported at 10:45 p.m. on Saturday that Timothy John Lazore has been located and is safe. Police offer thanks to community-minded citizens for their concern and assistance. The following report was published earlier on Saturday.

Brantford police are seeking the public’s help in locating a 47-year-old man reported missing on Saturday.

Timothy John Lazore was reported missing from his Alfred Street residence by a family member at about noon. He was last seen between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. on Saturday.

Police say Lazore is described as native, 5’2” and 150 pounds. He has black curly hair, a goatee and moustache and was last seen wearing a black winter coat with a “Bobcat” logo on it, a brown hoodie, blue jeans and black tennis shoes.

Police are concerned as Lazore has diabetes and a history of mental illness. He does not have his medication for either health issue. Police are also concerned about Lazore’s whereabouts due to current cold temperatures in the city.
