Police are seeking information from the public about a fatal assault that took place in Brantford on Nov. 2 last year.

David Cronk, 45, was beaten and stabbed at his Port Street residence.

Brantford resident Stephen Gerard Fitzgerald, 48, was arrested and charged with first-degree murder after Cronk succumbed to his injuries at Brantford General Hospital.

The incident marked Brantford’s second homicide of 2011.

Police on Thursday said they have information that another male was present during the incident. Investigators are seeking information about the other man’s involvement.
