A Brantford man is facing multiple child pornography charges, including making child pornography.
The 29-year-old is alleged to have contacted witnesses via a social networking website and invited them through e-mail to commit explicit sexual acts with him upon his fictitious three and 10-year-old sons.
The Brantford Police Service executed a search warrant at a Market Street residence on Thursday after an ongoing multi-jurisdictional investigation. Computers and computer equipment were seized during the investigation.
The accused attempted to flee the residence and resisted arrest, which led to minor injuries to the arresting officer.
The investigation is continuing with the forensic examination of seized computer equipment.
City police worked with the York Regional Police Service and Waterloo Regional Police Service to execute the search warrant.
Charles Daniel Wray, 29, of Market Street, is charged with possession of child pornography, distribution of child pornography, two counts of making child pornography and assaulting a police officer. He is being held in custody for a bail hearing.

this dirtbag will no doubt only get either a suspened sentance ,,house arrest,or a conditional sentance..meanwhile theres people out there who are getting prison time and losing everything,,for smoking pot,,,really people,,wake up..there is obviously something very wrong with this individual,,what else is he capable of ,,,i can only imagene,,i think we need to prioritize things in our “so called justice “system,,(sorry about the bad grammer,,i just woke up)

How can anyone think that there is nothing to this story. The Btfd police would not have acted if they did not have enough proof to make a move. Why would anyone “dislike” my comment about wanting this guy dealt with and put away for a very long time. Baffles my mind how some people think.
