Brant MP hosts roundtable discussion on economy
Brant MP Phil McColeman hosts a Brant Economic Consultation Roundtable discussion at Laurier Brantford on Wednesday morning. McColeman gathered feedback and suggestions from local politicians, business leaders and post-secondary education officials about ways to encourage business investment and job creation in Brant. McColeman will take the feedback he gathered to Ottawa as input into the upcoming federal budget.
Jct: Phil’s a great listener, gathering feedback and suggestions. Someday, he may even come up with an idea of his own.

Did anyone notice that on the previous page our MPP and Speaker of the House took up a 1/4 page to inform everyone about the finer points of his pension plan.
I found the timing a bit off, and the whole subject and tone of the article in poor taste, given the fact that he and our other elected provincial folk are on a paid holiday as the result of their leader wanting to protect some riding seats.
Not trying to be critical but just calling it the way I see it.
