A 79-year-old man suffered minor injuries after being hit by a vehicle while crossing William Street in Paris on Wednesday morning.

County of Brant OPP say officers responded to the collision at William Street and Grand River Street North shortly before noon.

The man was hit by a vehicle turning from Grand River Street North onto William Street.

A 73-year-old Brantford man is charged with careless driving in relation to the incident.
