Three arrested for street robbery

BRANTFORD (BCN) - Three Brantford residents in their early 20’s have been arrested for stealing the wallet of an acquaintance.

Brantford police responded to reports of a robbery at Darling and Stanley streets at 10 p.m. on Tuesday to find a 24-year-old man had been attacked by three assailants.

The victim said he knew his attackers and that they had taken his wallet and fled on foot.

A 21-year-old woman, 22-year-old man and 23-year-old man were tracked down by the officer, arrested, and charged with robbery.
