Robbery at downtown TD Canada Trust

Staff Report BRANT NEWS Brantford police are investigating a robbery at the TD Canada Trust on Market Street Saturday morning. At 8:18 a.m., Brantford police say a white male entered the bank at 70 Market St. and passed the teller a note demanding cash. The man fled the bank with what police described as "a small amount" of Canadian currency. Brantford police searched the area with help from the Hamilton police canine unit, but the suspect could not be found. The suspect is described as 5'5" and 140 pounds with a goatee and brown hair pulled into a ponytail. Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to contact Det.
