Explosion destroys First Line home on Six Nations
A Six Nations home was destroyed on Sunday night in what fire officials believe was a natural gas explosion.
Michael Seth, chief of the Six Nations fire department, said firefighters found a “debris field” and the home at 371 First Line fully engulfed in flames at about 9 p.m. Sunday.
“The only thing left standing is the basement walls,” Seth said.
No one was injured in the explosion. The lone occupant of the house wasn’t home at the time.
