Levac announces intention to seek re-election

Brant News

Liberal Brant MPP Dave Levac will seek another term at Queen's Park when the next provincial election is called.

"I love providing assistance for us to grow and helping individuals is also part of my joy," Levac said during an interview with Brant News. "There is more to do."

Levac said he reached his decision after carefully considering another run for office and consulting friends and family.

"I reached the decision partly through discussion with friends and family, both inside and outside of politics," Levac said. "I'm ready, I have the energy and I have the desire."

Levac said the Ontario Liberal Party Brant riding association has not yet established a date for a local candidate nomination meeting.

Levac was first elected as Brant MPP in 1999.
