Paris pool set to open

Staff Report
BRANT NEWS

Paris residents can beat the heat this summer by swimming in a brand new pool at Lions Park.

A grand opening celebration for the pool is scheduled for July 7 from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. The event will include a cake and ribbon cutting ceremony, as well as a barbecue and games.

County recreation staff and politicians took part in a media event to preview the new facility on Friday.

Visit County of Brant offices, community centres or www.brant.ca to view the county’s new 2012 aquatics guide.

The Paris pool fundraising committee continues to accept donations for the pool, which cost $2 million to construct. For more information, visit www.parispool.ca.
