Strodes BBQ & Deli and Brantford Parks and Recreation are looking for restaurants and catering businesses to take part in the annual Chili Willy Chili Cook-Off and Family Skate on Sunday, Feb. 26, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The annual event in Harmony Square pits local restaurants against each other for the title of Brantford’s best bowl of chili. The reigning champion is OLG Casino Brantford’s Getaway Restaurant.

Residents can sample various chili recipes from across the city and vote for their favourite bowl. Tasting is available for $5.

Free public skating will take place during the event, as well as a performance by Practically Hip on the Bell Stage.
